Simply Unified Fleet
Terms of use
Last updated 7 November 2026
These terms apply to organisations that use Simply Unified Fleet (“the client”, “you”) and to everyone the client gives a login. “We” means Simply Unified Pty Ltd. By using the app you agree to them.
1. The service
The app shows your Telematics Guru data as a fleet dashboard and Insights, and adds a Workshop, prestarts, bookings and tool records. It needs an active Telematics Guru account with API access, which we arrange with you.
2. Pilot and fees
A pilot is free for the period we agree in writing (normally 60 days), with no obligation to continue. Either of us can end it at any time. After the pilot, fees are as set out in our written quote and are invoiced monthly. Either party can end the service with 30 days’ written notice.
3. Logins
You decide who gets a login and whether they can edit or only view. Keep passwords private and tell us straight away if you think a login has been misused. You are responsible for what is done under your logins.
4. Your data
Your data stays yours. We use it only to provide and support the service, as described in our privacy notice. Ask us at any time for an export. Within 90 days after the service ends, we delete your data unless you ask us to keep it longer for an export.
5. Tracking people lawfully
You are responsible for telling your employees and drivers that vehicles and assets are tracked and how the information is used, and for meeting the workplace surveillance, privacy and employment laws that apply in each state you operate in.
6. Safety
Prestarts, defect flags, booking warnings and service reminders help you manage your fleet. They don’t replace your work health and safety duties, inspection by a competent person, or the manufacturer’s service schedule. Don’t operate an asset that is unsafe, whatever the app shows.
7. Accuracy
Figures come from trackers and Telematics Guru, and can be affected by GPS errors, signal gaps, late uploads and tracker settings. Some figures are estimates, including idle fuel cost, utilisation, running costs and logbook odometer readings. Check that the vehicle logbook meets the Australian Taxation Office’s requirements before you rely on it. It isn’t tax advice.
8. Availability
We take reasonable care to keep the app running, but it relies on Telematics Guru, our hosting provider and mobile networks, and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
9. Fair use
Don’t share logins outside your organisation, try to reach data that isn’t yours, interfere with the app, or use it to track anyone unlawfully.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to supplying the service again or refunding the fees you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data, to the extent the law allows.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll tell you of any significant change at least 30 days before it takes effect.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
